The Scramble Continues

I wanted to update everyone following my last post, which I’m sure thew some folks for a loop (sorry about that).  But, I felt like I needed to share my struggle with everyone – this was not an easy decision, nor one taken lightly.  I always try to meet “change” through much prayer and discernment because I know that all voluntary change isn’t good.  So, I ask God’s guidance ALWAYS to determine what I should do.  And, in this case. God spoke clearly and decisively.

I’m looking forward to my new ministry adventure!  In the meantime, I’m scrambling here to make sure things are left in great hands when I leave.  I NEVER want to leave this beloved church short-handed, so please pray for me, and all of those I’m working with, that I will be able to get everything “handed off” and that my leaving will be a mere “blip” on the radar.  This is proving a bit challenging thus far, but I must have hope and faith that all will come together.  With a church like this, filled with such amazing people, things will certainly work out well 🙂

I’m also very much looking forward to my vacation the last week of June.  It will be nice to have a little break between one position and the next.  My husband’s family will be joining us at the beach for a week, so definitely something to look forward to!

Many thanks to those of you who have wished me well and offered your prayers and support.  I really appreciate you!
